ToneCustoms — Script Licensing Policy

These are the licensing preferences approved by the ToneCustoms owner for future product terms. This page is not yet a substitute for the terms shown at checkout, and it does not override applicable law, platform rules, or rights granted under third-party licenses. Product-specific terms must be made available before purchase.
Permitted use
- A customer who purchases a ToneCustoms script may use it on multiple FiveM servers that they own.
- Customers may change designated configuration files, such as
config.luaand other files explicitly provided for configuration, to adapt the script to their own server. - Authorized developers working on the purchaser's servers may help with permitted configuration or installation, but they may not take a copy for their own projects or distribute it elsewhere.
Restricted actions
Unless ToneCustoms provides explicit permission, customers may not:
- Modify core script logic, client/server Lua implementation, UI/NUI files or other non-configuration resource files.
- Redistribute, share, leak, sell, sublicense or upload the purchased script for anyone else's use.
- Transfer the script license automatically when selling or transferring ownership of a FiveM server.
- Provide the resource to friends or to developers for use on servers the purchaser does not own.
These intended restrictions apply only to material ToneCustoms is entitled to license and to the extent enforceable. Third-party open-source code remains governed by its respective licenses.
Requests for exceptions
A customer may request written approval from ToneCustoms before modifying files beyond configuration, sharing access outside the permitted team, or transferring a license. Approval is discretionary; silence is not approval.
Other customer decisions
- Updates: Approved updates to a purchased script are provided at no additional charge when ToneCustoms releases them. Development and release timing are determined by ToneCustoms; no update calendar or future feature schedule is promised.
- Support: ToneCustoms intends to keep free installation, configuration and product support available through its official support channels; no 24/7 availability or fixed response-time guarantee is represented.
- Swaps: A purchased script may be considered for a swap only for another ToneCustoms script of reasonably comparable value, assessed using the customer's actual purchase amount and the replacement product's value. All swaps require owner approval. There is no automatic entitlement to a swap or price-difference credit.
- Refunds: The business preference is no refunds for a change of mind. Any legal, contractual, platform or payment-provider obligation to provide a refund or another remedy still applies.
